Tianhe and resin photovoltaic field showcased multiple series of products at the China International Composites Expo.

From September 12 to 14, Shanghai Tianhe Resin Co., Ltd. will showcase a variety of products in the photovoltaic field at the China International Composite Materials Exhibition, together with all colleagues in the composite materials industry, fulfilling a three-year commitment.

Tianhe Resin ReasterTM PUR 1018, the first weather-resistant polyurethane pultrusion system for photovoltaic frames.

The ReasterTMPUR 1018 system is a cost-effective weather-resistant aliphatic pultrusion system with high strength, high weather resistance, and high corrosion resistance; it meets the weather resistance requirements of various outdoor products without additional coating, thus reducing the overall cost of the product and fundamentally addressing users' concerns about product weather resistance.

This resin system uses a blend of aliphatic isocyanate and polyether polyol in a two-component pultrusion molding process, with no aromatic ring structures in its molecular structure, thus providing excellent weather resistance. The 1018 series weather-resistant pultrusion resin is passionately developed by Tianhe Resin for photovoltaic composite material frames, and this resin has the following advantages:

Extremely high weather resistance, no coating required.

The system has ultra-low mixing viscosity and excellent wettability.

The strength of the resin body is comparable to that of aromatic polyurethane, with a pultrusion speed of ≥0.5m/min.

Room temperature operable time >10 hours, no increase in viscosity, extremely strong moisture and heat resistance, no VOCs during production.

Open gel pultrusion is possible without a gel injection machine, reducing user costs.

Accelerated aging test exceeds 3000 hours (for a thickness of 3mm and width of 100mm flat plate), testing is ongoing.

The GB/T 8924 profile's bi-directional oxygen index can reach above 36 (can be halogen-free flame retardant), achieving flame retardant B1 level.

Unidirectional profile fiber transverse bending strength >80MPa, bending modulus >10GPa.

The resin has an extremely low Dk/Df value (10GHz, Dk=2.5, Df=0.006).

Tianhe Resin ReasterTM PUR 1017 series polyurethane pultrusion dedicated resin.

1017 is a resin that balances viscosity and mechanical properties, specifically designed for composite materials in the photovoltaic field, applicable to photovoltaic composite material frames and support products. Currently, this series of resins is undergoing TUV certification at Rhine, with positive feedback from preliminary test results. The 1017 system has the following characteristics:

High strength, high rigidity, corrosion resistance, good fire resistance.

Moisture and heat resistant, especially during high-temperature summer seasons, maintaining good process stability to ensure stable production for customers.

Low traction force during pultrusion process, over 30% lower than similar products, not easy to block molds, high production efficiency, good continuous production performance.

Can be halogen-free flame retardant (UL94 standard: 3mm V-0), antioxidant level anti-UV performance can be introduced into the system.

Good surface adhesion of products and strong compatibility with various coatings.

Tianhe Resin VER TH-380 pultrusion series dedicated resin.

VER TH-380 pultrusion series is a highly reactive epoxy vinyl ester resin specifically designed for composite materials in the photovoltaic field with the following characteristics:

High strength, high heat resistance, excellent flame retardancy and corrosion resistance.

Good water resistance and low water absorption rate meeting DNV Grade1 requirements.

Good pultrusion process performance and high applicability to pultrusion molding equipment.

The oxygen index of pure resin cast bodies can reach above 35; composite material products can reach UL94-V0 level.

Preliminary passed TÜV Rheinland Thermal index ≥90℃ (IEC 60216), subsequent projects are in the certification process.
